British Council Accredited Summer School

We are the number one ranked summer school provider in the UK as ranked by the EL Gazette. We achieved 15/15 areas of strength in our British Council inspection – the first multi-centre summer school to achieve this.

Time to Shine Presentation Skills

As part of all our courses, students will give a Time to Shine presentation. This academic challenge promotes confidence building, presentation skills, research skills and develops our students’ teamwork and leadership skills.

SBC Oxford (Ages 8 – 12)

SBC Oxford Summer School specialises in the care and support of young learners. With a high staff to student ratio of 1:5, we provide a safe and fun learning environment for all our students. An exciting mix of English lessons and a specially designed activity and excursion programme, SBC Oxford Summer School will provide a brilliant study holiday for your child.

SBC Canford (Ages 11 – 15)

Located on the south coast of England, SBC Canford Summer School offers a wide range of study options. As well as General English, students can study English Literature or one of following ‘Introduction to’ courses in Business, International Relations, STEM and Medicine. Students can develop their English language skills alongside studying their subject of choice. Outside of the classroom, the large and beautiful campus of Canford school provides the ideal setting and exceptional facilities for our activity programme.

Headington Oxford (Ages 13 – 16)

Just a 20-minute walk from the centre of Oxford city and providing the opportunity to explore the world-famous city of dreaming spires, Headington Oxford Summer School is the ideal location for teenage students. With 63 different nationalities represented, Headington Oxford summer school is perfect for students looking to develop their English language skills inside and outside of the classroom.

SBC at Eton College (Ages 13-16)

Summer Boarding Courses at Eton College offers international students, both boys and girls the opportunity to study at one of the world’s most famous schools. Students can combine academic study alongside the development of essential leadership skills and have a choice of four subjects: General English, Mathematics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and Humanities. The Summer Academy is ideally situated in the Berkshire town of Eton, close to Windsor, and is just 15 minutes’ drive from Heathrow Airport and less than an hour’s drive from central London.

SBC at Wellington College (Ages 13 – 16)

Our brand-new Summer Academy – Summer Boarding Courses at Wellington College specialises in developing academic knowledge alongside leadership skills in an inspiring environment at one of the most prestigious private schools in England. The college is conveniently located, just 30 minutes’ drive from London Heathrow and an hour’s drive from central London. SBC at Wellington College is the perfect choice for students aged 13-16 years old who want to further their knowledge of key mainstream school subjects alongside a bespoke leadership programme.

Oxford College (Ages 15 – 17)

Oxford College Summer School is held at Wycliffe Hall at The University of Oxford which is perfectly located close to the centre of Oxford. The academic summer programme offers students the opportunity to experience being a student at the world’s top university. Students can choose to study one of eight academic subjects over a two-week course, designed to further their subject knowledge, English language proficiency and help prepare them for university.

Outside of the classroom an extensive Social and Wellbeing programme enables students to relax and make friends from around the world. Students will also take place in course-specific academic workshops in London and enjoy a formal graduation on completion of their course.

Cambridge College (Ages 15 – 17)

Our brand-new Summer College – Cambridge College Summer School is held at Clare College at The University of Cambridge, close to the city centre. The academic programme specialises in preparing for higher education, allowing students to experience being a student at the world’s top three university. Students can choose to study one of four subjects over a two-week course including, Business & Leadership, International Relations, Law and Medicine.

In addition to the academic programme, students can enjoy a varied and comprehensive Social and Wellbeing Programme which enables students to carefully balance their studies with an opportunity to relax and make friends outside the classroom.
