Dukes International Summer School for ages 11-15

Dukes International Summer School is unique among our SBC Summer School programmes in offering a range of ‘Introduction To’ academic courses, giving students a taste of vocational subjects in English. As well as our General English and Summer Study options, the exciting Academic Programme at Dukes allows students to choose from other courses including Business or International Relations. The courses aim to engage students in new disciplines of study, encouraging self-expression whilst advancing their subject knowledge. Our stimulating and interactive courses have been written exclusively for Dukes International Summer School, and take place every morning, providing 15 hours of lessons per week.

Prior to the course, students will be asked to complete a two-part online English assessment, before their arrival at the school, in order to assess their level of English and ensure they are placed into suitable classes.

The different academic courses require different levels of English capability, and run over different lengths of time. See below for full details.
